So saying “we launched a browser” doesn’t quite mean what it used to mean:

Without the web platform, you wouldn't have been able to loudly proclaim you have a browser for your AI. But Atlas? This is not what innovation in the browser space looks like.

At the end of the day, practically speaking, funding is required to advance features, fix bugs, etc.

And over the last 3-4 years, I've probably attempted a re-design [my personal site] no less than 10 times. I would start to design in Illustrator, I would then start building and then abandon it. My biggest hinderance was wanting my website to be tied to my personal identity. I would grow frustrated with it not fully embodying me and then decide I didn't need to re-design it and then cycle would start again.

I feel so seen.

A cool story.

So I pulled up my website and asked if any of them knew what the browser developer tools were and no one did. So I explained how on any website they visit, they could right click, find "Inspect" and click on that and view the code for a website.

I opened the DevTools on my site and there was an audible gasp from the class and excited murmuring.

"That's your code?" A student asked.

"Yes, that's all my code!"

"You wrote all of that?!"

"Yes, it's my website."

And the class kind of exploded and starting talking amongst themselves.
